Our Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms

We and our service providers use cookies and other tracking tools to gather information about how users interact with our Site. This data may be combined with other personal information we collect.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files stored on your browser or device. We use cookies to:

  • Help navigate the Site more efficiently
  • Enable faster login processes
  • Track behavior for analytics or advertising purposes
Types of Cookies We Use
  • Session Cookies: These are temporary and expire when you close your browser. We use them to maintain login sessions and process activity during your visit.
  • Persistent Cookies: These remain on your device after your session ends. They help us analyze site performance and deliver relevant advertising on other websites.

Disabling Cookies

Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can adjust your browser settings to block or delete them. Instructions are typically found in the Help section of your browser.

Note: Disabling cookies may affect your experience and limit the functionality of some features on the Site.

Analytics

We may use automated tools and applications, such as Google Analytics, to evaluate usage patterns, improve our website performance, and enhance user experience. These tools may rely on cookies, web beacons, and local storage objects (LSOs) to collect and process information about your interactions with the Site.

To learn more about how Google handles your data, visit the Google Privacy Policy. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.

Cross-Device Tracking

We, along with third-party service providers (e.g., Google), may use collected information to identify and associate the devices you use—such as smartphones, tablets, or desktop computers. This allows us to:

  • Deliver consistent, targeted advertising across your devices
  • Improve personalized content and communication

To opt out of cross-device tracking, follow the opt-out instructions in the Ad Networks section below.

Note: Opt-outs are device- and browser-specific. You must opt out separately on each device or browser.

Do Not Track

Our systems do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. However, you may disable certain types of tracking by adjusting your cookie preferences or using opt-out mechanisms as described below.

Ad Networks

We work with advertising networks to display relevant ads on our Site and across non-affiliated platforms (e.g., social media). These networks may use technologies such as:

  • Cookies
  • JavaScript
  • Web beacons (including clear GIFs)

These tools allow advertisers to:

  • Measure ad effectiveness
  • Serve personalized content
  • Track interactions across websites and apps

Each provider’s use of tracking technologies is governed by their own privacy policy.

Custom Audiences

We may share hashed contact data (such as your email) with platforms like Facebook to create Custom Audiences, which help target ads to individuals with similar interests or characteristics.

You can control how ads are shown to you by updating preferences on those platforms directly.

Opting Out of Targeted Ads

To opt out of interest-based advertising:

Opting out does not stop all advertising—only personalized ads based on behavioral tracking. You may still receive contextual ads related to the content you are viewing.

If your browser is set to reject cookies, opt-outs through the DAA may not take effect. Additional information is available at www.aboutads.info.
